We are excited for what this year will bring though...a baby, a new job, a new home and school for Brody!
But back to celebrating. For our anniversary, I wanted to go back to where it all began, good 'ole Provo. (specifically the Avenues Apts) I also had been craving some foods that only exist in Provo for a long time so it was a good excuse to visit.
We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast. Our first time ever. It was quite quaint, but really expensive. Oh well. We got a complimentary bottle of sparkling cider and a very delicious breakfast of stuffed french toast, fruit, yogurt and bacon in the morning. The bed was also amazingly comfortable with awesome bedding. It was nice to stay somewhere where you won't worried if the sheets had been recently washed or what kind of people slept in that bed before you. Plus it was kinda fun just to stay in a house.

| please ignore the awful picture...it was the only one we had of both of us and it was super early, pre shower |
For food we ate at Guru's (amazing sweet potatoe fries and JDawgs- we were too full to eat anything else) Then visited my gma on the way home and made it home to watch the anticlimatic Olympic opening ceremonies.

I was kind of sad to leave Provo behind for good. I'll definitely miss it more than Salt Lake. I had so many awesome memories there. Made some of the best friends in my life, met my husband (and before that dated and hung out with such fun guys-- along with a few interesting ones) I loved that I walked or ran almost every street in that town, ate at most of the restaurants and spent countless hours on BYU's campus. I am grateful to parents for forcing me on a plane some 8 years ago (2004 sounds so long ago) and making me come here. I never knew what an incredibly awesome aventure it would be. (i'm seriously tearing up writing this...there is something wrong with my emotions since being pregnant)
Those really were some of my favorite years of life though...but I hope to make new and awesome memories in Michigan and everywhere else life takes us. I'm glad Brody and I have made it this far and hope to have many more happy years in the future.
