Finally...my 1st post!

So I was very excited to start the blog with a great post about Brody's 25th Birthday. I was anxious to post pictures of the fabulous dinner I made him and the cute pictures of Brody opening presents. Sadly, a couple of weeks later I left our camera (with the birthday pictures) at Texas Roadhouse. Long story short the camera is now MIA and we have no birthday pictures. What to do...I figured I had to post something someday, so I came out of mourning for the lost camera today and decided to start our posts with the most important day of our lives up until this point. Our wedding day.
On July 31, 2009, we were married in the Washington, DC temple. The day was blissful even with torrential downpours and bad traffic. The wedding day was just the beginning to a whirlwind of activity and fun. We were married on a Friday, reception in Johnstown, PA (my hometown) the day after, on the plane to Costa Rica for our honeymoon the following day. After our relaxing and adventurous honeymoon, we returned to Provo to our new apartment. Then came moving in, training in Seattle for my new job and then finally the start of real life aka monotony. It has been great fun!
