Finally, a party...

Before getting hitched, I loved to throw parties with my roommates. We especially loved to throw themed parties. We've thrown a Panda party (aka a black and white party), a Seis de Mayo party (instead of Cinco), a Pi day party for 3/14 and many more. But since I got married and moved into an apartment with very little room, so small that we don't have room for even a kitchen table, party throwing basically ceased for me :( We also have limited seating so there is really nowhere to put people if they come over.

Well last weekend I decided to forget about the 'no room in my house' obstical and still just have people over. We wanted to have a bbq but weather didn't permit (its still cold at the end of May here in Utah)

We did have a pinata (a Batman pinata at that) That was probably the most fun I've ever had hitting a pinata! Thanks to some of our crazy friends!

Sadly, I have no real pictures of the actual party. I should have documented us stuffed into my living room!

I still don't think I'll be throwing a ton of parties until we move out, but at least this last one showed me that I could at least have a small gathering.

More Weddings..

Last weekend my friend Lauren got married (sadly I don't have a picture of her actually). My old roommate Robyn and her husband came into town! It was so fun to see each other again (Colorado is much too far)

We made quite the spectacle at the Chocolate, one of my new favorite places in Utah Valley. Sadly, we don't have any pictures to catch those moments of fun. I really need to get better at taking pictures. and then get better at editing them, cause I swear they look good on my camera and then I upload them and I do not like them anymore!

Hopefully a trip to Colorado will be in our future! It was good to have part of the old Avenues 210 crew back together!
