Holidays 2012

This year was quite different than Christmas before. Most different of all was the location.  This was the first year that we haven't been around a lot of family and of course it was our first time in Michigan for the holiday. (and with a baby) We were able to spend Christmas Eve and day with my parents.

We also had a little Christmas party before all of our friends in Ann Arbor made a mass exodous to Utah.  We had a popcorn bar, hot chocolate and cookies.  It was fun to finally host a party, even if it did stress me out like crazy. I was super lucky to have Pam come visit for a few days.  We had tons of fun catching up, watching Gossip Girl (our new show) and eating chocolate.  She was a major help in getting ready for the party!

Brody and I took Pam home to PA so she could meet her parents and fly to the Bahamas (lucky).  Brody and I stopped by Johnstown to see David and Douglas.  It was a super short trip, but it was good to see them.  We stopped by my sister's house and spent the night with her. Next time we see them, they'll be a new baby in the family!

Back to Christmas...The baby was super spoiled and nearly all the present under our Christmas tree I mean lamp, were for her. She got lots of clothes and toys. Brody and I used our presents (money) to purchase new iphones.  We LOVE them.  We made prime rib for dinner and ate delicious pie for dessert.
Christmas Eve at my parents with my sweet girl!

Opening her first present with grandma!

All of her presents..so spoiled!

kinda blurry, but she's so cute!

We love this sweater my sister gave to me.

New Years Eve was pretty uneventful.  My parents took us to lunch. We went to Zingerman's.  It was hillarious to see them at such a place. They are not fans of unique or trendy food/restaurants. lol
All of our friends were gone so Brody and I just watched football and the ball drop and toasted each other at midnight.  Life is definitely different with a baby.
