A New Me

I've always been proud to be a brunette. I even had a T-shirt in high school that said, "Brunettes do it better" (my best friend Lindsay had the Blondes version of the shirt) but since getting married and chopping off my long locks, my hair has just been growing out for months with no highlights or cute cuts. So with the onset of spring, I decided that I needed a change and wow did I get one.

Obviously, I'll never be a real blonde, but I figure that this is the closest I'll ever get. I hope that I don't look like a poser blonde (I still love being a brunette) but I really do like the new color.

I had an impromtu photoshoot, so I hope it does my hair color justice. Now that I'm posting pictures I'm thinking that it really doesn't look that blonde. My hair always looks darker when I take pictures, but I swear it really is light!

I'll see if blondes really do have more fun (haha sorry for the cliche, I just couldn't resist)
